Focal Person for Research, Water Resources & Environmental Management

Samani Benedictus Nobiya is a Water Resources and Environmental Management Specialist with several years experience in environment and integrated water resources management. He holds an Advanced Diploma in Meteorology from UN/ WMO Institute of Meteorology, Kenya, A Certificates in Rural Extension, Environmental Education and Ecological Alternatives in Sanitation from the University of Wageningen, Netherlands, International Lake Environmental Education Foundation (University of Shiga). He has extensive working experience with the Ghana Meteorological Agency and the Water Research Institute (Council for Scientific & Industrial Research, Ghana) as a Research Scientist. He is a member of several Professional Associations including, the Ghana Science Association (GSA), International Association of Impact Assessors (IAIA), International Water Association (IWA), UK.
